India’s NIA receives email threatening to kill PM Modi

Mumbai, April 01, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Mumbai branch of India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) has received an email threatening to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the email, the sender has claimed to have “20 kg RDX”, Indian media reported. “I have met with some terrorists, they are going to help with rdx, I am happy that I have got bombs very easily and now I will blast everywhere… I have planned it, 20 sleeper cells will be activated and millions of people will be killed” the sender claims in the email.

The NIA and other Indian intelligence agencies are reportedly trying to trace the sender. Indian media quoting sources close to the development have reported that they were tracking the IP address and were gathering other information about the sender.
