ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has accused India of orchestrating a deep conspiracy against its minority Sikh community by targeting them with ballistic missiles.
In a statement released on the social media platform X, Tarar criticized India’s actions, describing them as cowardly and shameful. He asserted that these actions reveal India’s true face to the international community.
Tarar emphasized that Pakistan stands in solidarity with the Sikh community during this challenging period. His comments come amid escalating tensions between the neighboring countries over treatment of minorities.
The remarks from the Pakistani minister were shared on Saturday, highlighting concerns over the treatment of Sikh citizens in India. The allegations have yet to be addressed by Indian authorities.
