India’s decision to hold G20 summit in IIOJK attempt to hoodwink world community: AJK PM

Islamabad, June 27, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan, has said that India’s contentious decision to hold the upcoming G20 summit in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) is a deliberate attempt to hoodwink the international community.

Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan in a statement issued in Islamabad said IIOJK is an internationally recognized disputed territory and its solution lies in the UN Security Council resolutions. He said India has virtually turned the Kashmir valley into a military garrison, especially after 5th August 2019 when Modi-led fascist Indian regime repealed its special status and imposed military siege in the territory. The people of IIOJK have been deprived of their fundamental human rights, he added.

The AJK Prime Minister urged the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and international human rights organizations to take notice of Indian state terrorism in occupied Kashmir and play an effective role in ending the human rights violations in the territory.
