India’s Ambitions in Kashmir Will Not Prevail, Declares Muqam

Islamabad: Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan, Engineer Amir Muqam, announced the conclusion of a strike in Azad Jammu and Kashmir after reaching an agreement with the Kashmir Joint Committee. The resolution followed successful negotiations with the Kashmir Action Committee, underscoring the commitment to peaceful dialogue.

Muqam emphasized that both parties involved in the discussions contributed positively to achieving the agreement. He cited the successful outcome as evidence that unity, tolerance, and dialogue can resolve disputes.

In his statement, Muqam reiterated that external efforts, particularly by India, to incite violence in Kashmir will not succeed. The minister’s remarks were broadcast by Radio Pakistan, highlighting the ongoing tensions in the region.
