Jammu, In a recent attack in the Poonch district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, five Indian troops were killed and several others injured.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the casualties occurred during a cordon and search operation (CASO) conducted by Indian forces in the Surankote area of the district. The deceased troops were identified as Birendra Singh, Karan Kumar, Chandan Kumar, and Gautam Kumar. Injured personnel included Sundeep Kumar, Shyam Sundar Das, and Todmal Dnyaneshwar Bhaskarrav.
The operation was reportedly ongoing, with no further details available at the time of the last reports.
