Meanwhile, Indian army, paramilitary and police personnel as well as the sleuths of the dreaded National Investigation Agency and State Investigation Agency arrested several persons during search operations and house raids in Srinagar, Islamabad, Pulwama, Shopian and Jammu districts. The detainees have been booked under black law Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. The occupation authorities have attached a shop at Zirpara Bijbehara in Islamabad district.

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference in a statement issued in Srinagar expressed serious concern over the surge in Indian state terrorism in the occupied territory. It said the Indian brutalities cannot intimidate the Kashmiris into submission and they will continue their freedom struggle till complete success. The APHC urged the UN to impress upon India to stop its state terrorism in occupied Kashmir and resolve the Kashmir dispute by giving the Kashmiris their right to self-determination.

The Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, headed by illegally detained senior APHC leader Shabbir Ahmed Shah, in a statement deplored India has turned occupied Kashmir into a slaughter house where its forces’ personnel are killing innocent people in fake encounters with impunity.

An analytical report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, said, November 9 is the Black Day for Junagarh as on this day in 1947 India landed its troops and forcibly occupied the Muslim-ruled State in sheer violation of international law. Pakistan has a rightful claim on Junagarh state as Nawab Mahabat Khan, the then governor of Junagarh, signed an agreement of accession to Pakistan in accordance with the ideology of the country on 15 September 1947. The report pointed out that India is illegally holding both Jammu and Kashmir and Junagarh while Pakistan is committed to continue its efforts for their righteous demand of freedom from Indian illegal occupation.
