Indian troops launch massive CASO in Sopore town

Srinagar, June 19, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops launched a massive cordon and search operation in Sopore town of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday early morning.

A joint team of Indian Army, paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Special Operations Group of Indian police cordoned off Batpora area of Sopore town and conducted searches. The forces’ personnel sealed all entry and exit points of the area. The operation continued till last reports came in.

It is to mention here that Indian police martyred two civilians by resorting to indiscriminate firing in a vindictive action after two of policemen were killed and three others injured in an attack by unknown persons in Arampora area of the town, last Saturday (June 12).
