In a recent operation in Kupwara district, Indian troops killed two Kashmiri youth, intensifying the ongoing tensions in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident occurred during a cordon and search operation in the Gugaldhar area of the district. The operation, described by authorities as part of their counterterrorism efforts, resulted in the deaths of the two individuals involved. The Indian Army’s Srinagar-based Chinar Corps confirmed via an X post that the operation was a joint effort with police forces, initiated on October 4 in Gugaldhar, Kupwara, aiming to address security concerns in the region.
