Indian Troops Extend Search Operations in Poonch for Second Consecutive Day

Jammu, Indian troops have continued their cordon and search operations (CASOs) in the Krishna Ghati sector of the Poonch district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir for a second consecutive day.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the operations, involving the use of sniffer dogs and drone cameras, are focused on locating the individuals responsible for a recent attack on a military convoy in the area. The attack, carried out by unidentified armed men, occurred on Friday evening in the Krishna Ghati sector.

In response to the incident, Indian forces initiated a widespread search operation on Saturday morning, expanding the cordon to encompass several additional forest areas. The forces have also employed helicopters to monitor the area from above while deploying sniffer dogs to aid in tracking down the attackers.

This ongoing search operation by Indian forces in the Poonch district reflects the heightened security measures in the region following the attack on the military convoy.
