Indian Sponsorship Alleged in North Waziristan Attack: ISPR

Mira Ali: An investigation by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has implicated Indian involvement in a recent attack in the North Waziristan region, which led to civilian casualties. The ISPR pointed to the Indian-sponsored group Fitna Al Khwarij as responsible for the act in the Mira Ali area, refuting allegations against Pakistan’s security forces.

Following the incident, certain narratives surfaced accusing the security forces of perpetrating the attack. These assertions, according to the ISPR, are unfounded and part of a disinformation campaign aimed at undermining the efforts of the security forces engaged in counterterrorism operations.

The ISPR emphasized that the investigation, conducted swiftly after the incident, determined the orchestration and execution of the attack by Fitna Al Khwarij under Indian direction. The group reportedly uses civilian areas and populations as shields, intending to disrupt the relationship between locals and security forces.

Security forces remain committed to bringing those responsible for the attack to justice, reaffirming their dedication to combating terrorism in the region.
