Indian soldier dies in Handwara

Srinagar, January 18, 2022 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian soldier died in Kupwara district.

The Indian solider identified as Lance Naik (26-year-old) died after he was hospitalised for vomiting in Rajwar-Handwara area of the district, officials said.

The officials told media men the lance Naik, was found unconscious at its unit, following vomiting. He was moved to Military Hospital and after around 45 minutes he was subsequently declared dead, they said. The deceased, they said, belonged to Indian city Alipur Gurugram in Haryana.

On the other hand, Indian police arrested two youth in Pulwama district. Meanwhile, the attackers hurled a grenade on Police Control room in Batamaloo area of Srinagar district on Monday evening. A top Police officer told media that in this incident no one was injured so far as per the reports. Meanwhile whole area has been cordoned off to nab the fleeing militants, they said.
