Indian soldier commits suicide in Baramulla

Srinagar, An Indian army soldier committed suicide in Baramulla district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the soldier, while moving from his home to Uri, ended his life by shooting himself with his service rifle.

Reports said that the incident took place in the Mohura area of Uri. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

This incident raised the number of such deaths among the Indian troops and police personnel in the occupied territory to 583 since January 2007.

Meanwhile, police took cognizance of the incident.
