New Delhi, August 23, 2021 (PPI-OT):The Award-winning journalist, Arfa Khanum Sherwani has said the Indian Right-Wing is leading the charge of global Islamophobia industry which has been revived after the Taliban captured the power. Arfa, who is associated with The Wire, took to twitter to express her opinion over the revival of Islamophobia industry after Taliban’s takeover of power in Afghanistan.
“As Taliban capture power in Afghanistan, the global Islamophobia industry has been revived. This time the Indian Right Wing is leading the charge,” she tweeted. Arfa has been vocal about the core issues of the country and has been subjected to trolls and online hatred several times over the years. She was the only Indian journalist to cover the 2014 Afghan presidential elections.
