SRINAGAR, An Indian policeman was slain in a targeted attack at his home in Baramulla district of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir earlier this evening.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the policeman, identified as Ghulam Muhammad Dar, was at his residence in the Wailoo Kralpora locality when unidentified assailants opened fire. Following the attack, he was promptly transported to a nearby medical facility, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
In the wake of the shooting, local police and military forces have sealed off the immediate vicinity and initiated an extensive search operation with the intention of apprehending the individuals responsible for the attack.
