Indian Police Seize Properties of Kashmiri Residents Under UAPA in Baramulla

Srinagar, Indian police have recently seized properties belonging to two residents of Baramulla district in the region of Jammu and Kashmir, currently under disputed administration.

According to Kashmir Media Service, under the provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), authorities confiscated eight kanals and three marlas of land owned by Jalil Ahmed Rather and Muhammad Ashraf Mir, both from the Talgam area. This action is part of broader measures by the Modi government which has targeted the properties of numerous individuals and organizations linked to the Kashmir freedom movement.

This series of property seizures reflects ongoing tensions and the complex political dynamics within the region.
