Indian police confiscate 118 bovine animals, vehicles in Ramban on fake charge 

Jammu, December 27, 2022 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, police confiscated 118 bovine animals owned by Jammu-based Muslim families on the fake charge of “being transported illegally” to Srinagar in eight vehicles. These vehicles were on way from Jammu to Srinagar. In this regard, eight FIRs were registered at Police Station Chanderkote, Police Station Ramban and Police Station Batote.

All the involved vehicles were seized and owners were arrested and investigation was started. The raid was carried out by police parties under the command of Inspector Sam Pal Gill, SHO Batote; Inspector Sandeep Singh Charak, SHO Ramban and Inspector Padam Dev Singh, SHO Chanderkote under the supervision of Pardeep Singh Sen, DSP HQ Ramban with the overall supervision of SP Ramban, Mohita Sharma.

It is a common practice in IIOJK that people of Kashmir valley usually purchase bovine animals for milk and other purposes from people in Jammu, but since the Modi-led Hindutva regime took to power, the business has become a particular target of the anti-Muslim regime.
