Indian police conduct surprise search operations in Srinagar, Kulgam 

Srinagar, November 11, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian forces’ personnel conducted raids, surprise search operations and frisking in Srinagar and adjoining areas. One such search and frisking operation was conducted in Saraibala area of Srinagar.

Pedestrians were frisked while shopkeepers were harassed and were asked to provide details about their salesmen. Pedestrians were asked to provide identity cards while vehicles were thoroughly frisked. Meanwhile, the situation in Chawalgam area of Kulgam district was tense after Indian troops martyred a youth and resorted to indiscriminate firing in the area.

An Indian police man succumbed to his injuries in an Indian Army hospital at Udhampur. He was injured in an accident on October 31 when a Baleno vehicle driven by the man skidded off the road and rolled down into gorge on Srinagar-Baramulla road near Nand Singh Bridge in Uri.
