Indian police arrest two more members of PFI in Delhi

New Delhi, October 06, 2022 (PPI-OT):In its ongoing crackdown on a prominent Muslim organization, Popular Front of India (PFI), the Delhi Police have arrested two of its active members in the Indian capital. The PFI members identified as Israr Ali and Mohammed Samoon were arrested from the Khajuri Khas area of New Delhi and booked under black law, Unlawful Activity (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

The BJP-led communal Indian government had on September 28 banned the PFI and its other affiliates for five years on concocted charges. Hundreds of PFI leaders and members including women, students, scholars, Ulema and businessmen have been arrested by Indian agencies and police in the past few days.
