Indian police arrest four Kashmiris, 4 sentenced to over 10 years in jail 

New Delhi, October 26, 2021 (PPI-OT):Indian forces arrested four Kashmiri youth in Nepal and in India. According to Kashmir Media Service, three Kashmiri youth – Mohammad Noor, Mohammad Rashid and Yasar Arafat from Poonch district were arrested at Kathmandu in Nepal. They were in Nepal to travel to Saudi Arabia.

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) personnel arrested another Kashmiri youth Mohammad Sajjad in Bhuj area of Gujarat in India. Mohammad Sajjad was associated the paramilitary force and was detained because of his religious and ethnic background.

Meanwhile, a court of India’s notorious agency National Investigation Agency (NIA) sentenced four youth to 10 to 12 years in jail on fake charges. Muhammad Shafi Shah and Muzaffar Ahmad Dar have been awarded 12 years sentence while Talib Lali and Mushtaq Ahmad Lone have been sentenced to 10 years in jail. They are reportedly the members of Hizbul Mujahedeen.
