Indian police arrest 21 Muslim bovine traders in Reasi

Jammu, July 10, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, as the Eid-ul-Azha is drawing nearer, Indian police have stepped up its spree of arresting Muslims cattle traders labeling them as bovine smugglers. Muslims perform the religious ritual of sacrificing animals like cows, buffaloes, goats and sheep on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. However, the Muslims in IIOJK and India are inviting the wrath of Modi-led Hinudtva government, cow vigilantes and communal Hindus for performing this religious obligation. They are being continuously attacked by Hindu extremists even for transporting animals, particularly cows, for trade.

Indian police arrested 21 Muslim bovine traders on the charges of cattle smuggling after conducting raids and laying special nakas in different areas of Reasi district in Jammu region. The police have also taken into possession 124 bovines as well as several vehicles, which were being used for transporting the animals.
