Indian Paramilitary Trooper Injures Woman in Pulwama Incident

Srinagar, A woman was injured in Pulwama district of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir after being shot by an Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) trooper. The incident has heightened tensions in the region, which has been a focal point of conflict.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident occurred during a routine patrol involving CRPF and local police personnel in the Syedabad Pastoona Tral area. The woman, identified as Shaheena, aged 40, was reportedly shot and subsequently hospitalized. She has been admitted to the Bone and Joint Hospital in Srinagar, where officials have described her condition as stable.

This event adds to the ongoing security issues in the region, prompting further scrutiny of the operations of security forces in conflict zones.
