Indian media condemned for implicating Pakistan in Jammu attack

Islamabad, June 29, 2021 (PPI-OT): Noted Pakistani defense analyst, Lieutenant General (retd) Amjad Shoaib, has strongly condemned the Indian media for implicating Pakistan in the recent so-called drone attack on Indian Air Force Station in Jammu.

Lieutenant General (retd) Amjad Shoaib in an analysis on his YouTube channel Defence, Diplomacy and Politics Analytica said that soon after two small explosions inside the Jammu Air Force Station, Indian media termed it a drone attack. However, he said that later it came to fore and even Indian media also realized that it was not a drone but a small quadcopter, used for movie-making on weddings, that was used in the so-called attack. Lieutenant General (retd) Amjad Shoaib said such quadcopter have a limited flying range and they don’t have the capacity to cover more than 14 kilometres, which is the distance from the Pakistani side to the Jammu Air Force Station.

He pointed out that in case of a war in future between Pakistan and India, the latest drone technology will be used. He said that the drone attacks cause severe damages and cited the examples of the US drone attacks in Afghanistan and Houthi militants against the Saudi Arabia. The defense analyst said that Indian media always blows the incidents out of proportion and never leaves no stone unturned to defame Pakistan.
