Indian govt’s claims of firing and casualties on LoC are just propaganda

Islamabad, September 16, 2023 (PPI-OT): The Indian government’s claims of firing and casualties on the Line of Control are just propaganda to divert the world’s attention from the ongoing human rights violations in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and to attract voters in the upcoming elections.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian media has been broadcasting news for the past few days that Indian forces are engaged in operations against militants on the Line of Control and officers and militants have been killed but the videos made by the residents living in the areas around the Line of Control have exposed the false claims of the Indian government.

According to the residents, there is no firing or operation of any kind on either side of the Line of Control and there is complete silence. Indian analysts are also raising questions that if the situation on the border is so serious and Indian soldiers are also being killed, then what is Modi celebrating in such a situation?, official news agency of Pakistan, Associated Press of Pakistan said.

According to the agency, an analyst, the Modi government uses such tactics to gain political advantage before the elections and tries to take credit for their deaths by falsely accusing Pakistan of terrorism. Former Governor of occupied Jammu and Kashmir Satya. Pal Malik and several leaders of India have already warned the people that many incidents like the Pulwama drama may happen again in view of the elections, it added.

The agency said a person living near the Line of Control said that we are living peacefully here and on the other side, cattle and livestock are moving as usual, there is no firing far away. Thank God there is no terrorism and firing. And all this is false propaganda, it maintained. The Indian media is propagating against Pakistan to divert the world’s attention from the Kokernag incident where four Indian high officials were killed in an attack.
