Indian Forces Kill Two Youths and a Woman in Chhattisgarh Operation

Raipur: In a recent operation in Chhattisgarh, Indian security forces killed two youths and a woman during a cordon and search operation in the Abhujmaad area of Narayanpur district. The incident has escalated tensions in a region already affected by violence.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the operation aimed at identifying and neutralizing Naxalite militants, resulted in the deaths of these three individuals. The forces involved have labeled the deceased as Naxalites, a term used for the militant communist groups operating in the area.

In an attempt to justify the operation, a police official stated that the three were engaged in Naxal activities and were killed during an anti-Naxal operation. This declaration has been met with skepticism and calls for a thorough investigation into the matter.

The ongoing search operation in the region underscores the continued efforts by Indian forces to combat Naxalite influence in the Bastar region of Chhattisgarh. The number of Naxalites killed in various operations across the region this year has now reached 157.

The incident raises concerns about the methods used by security forces and the potential for human rights violations in the guise of anti-Naxal operations.
