Indian Forces Kill 22 Tribe Members in Chhattisgarh


Bijapur: Indian forces killed 22 tribe members in BJP-ruled Chhattisgarh state during a search operation in the Karregutta hills forest areas of Bijapur district bordering Telangana state.



According to Kashmir Media Service, the individuals, identified by Indian police as Naxalites, were involved in the ongoing operation. A senior police official confirmed the recovery of 22 bodies and noted that the search operation remains active. The identity of those killed has yet to be determined.



The operation, which has been underway since April 21, has resulted in the deaths of four women among the 22 individuals. The police continue to investigate the area as part of their ongoing search efforts.
