Srinagar, In a recent operation in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian forces arrested a Kashmiri youth at a checkpoint in Baramulla district on Tuesday. The youth, identified as Mehraj ud din Bhat, son of Manzoor Ahmad Bhat and a resident of Mundyari Pattan, was taken into custody by a joint party of Indian police and the army in the Pattan area of the district.
According to Kashmir Media Service, a police official confirmed the arrest of Mehraj ud din Bhat. The circumstances leading to his arrest at the checkpoint have not been disclosed. The operation marks another instance of the ongoing tensions in the region, where security forces maintain a significant presence.
