Islamabad: The Pakistan Armed Forces have accused Indian forces of launching an unprovoked attack targeting civilians on the night of May 6-7, 2025. The assault reportedly affected women, children, and the elderly, leading to significant casualties.
According to a statement from the Inter Services Public Relations, two members of the Pakistan Armed Forces, Havaldar Muhammad Naveed Shaheed of the Pakistan Army and Senior Technician Muhammad Ayaz Shaheed of the Pakistan Air Force, succumbed to injuries sustained during the attack. This brings the total number of Pakistani military personnel killed to 13, with 78 others injured.
The Pakistan Armed Forces have condemned the aggression, describing it as blatant and cowardly. They have paid tribute to the fallen soldiers, lauding their courage, dedication, and patriotism. The military also extended condolences to the families of the deceased and expressed hopes for the swift recovery of the injured.
The incident has intensified tensions between the two nations, with Pakistan insisting that the sacrifices of its soldiers will remain a source of inspiration for future generations.
