Indian authorities to further intensify drive to demolish, seal properties of pro-freedom people in IIOJK

Srinagar, December 20, 2022 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian authorities have decided to further intensify their crackdown against the Kashmiris to punish them for their affiliation with the ongoing freedom movement. The Director General of Police (DGP) in IIOJK, Dilbagh Singh, talking to reporters in Jammu announced that the demolition and sealing of the properties of the people affiliated with the freedom movement will be intensified in coming days.

It is to mention here that the occupation authorities have already seized the properties of Hurriyat leaders and organizations, particularly the Jamaat-e-Islami of IIOJK, for their role in the Kashmiris’ struggle for right to self-determination. The fascist Modi regime sealed three more properties of Jamaat-e-Islami and deceased top pro-freedom leader Syed Ali Gilani in Srinagar, today.

The order for sealing of the properties including the 17-marla two-story building of Syed Ali Gilani was issued by District Magistrate under draconian law, Unlawful Activities Prevention Act. The Indian authorities have already demolished several properties in different areas of the occupied territory on the charge that they were used by Kashmiri freedom-fighters.
