Srinagar, February 17, 2023 (PPI-OT):The Indian army’s Lt General Rashim Bali was appointed by the Government of India as the Corps Commander of the Leh-based ‘Fire and Fury’ Corps also called as 14 Corps in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian army’s Lt Gen Rashim Bali has replaced Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, who has been appointed as the Chief of Staff of Udhampur headquartered Northern Command.

Pertinently, the Fire and Fury Corps is deployed at the high-altitude mountainous Line of Control (LoC)/ Line of Actual Control (LAC) with both China and Pakistan in Ladakh region. Meanwhile, the Indian army’s Lt Gen MV Suchindra Kumar has been appointed as the new Vice Chief of Indian Army Staff, while incumbent Lt Gen B S Raju will take charge as South Western Army Commander, Indian officials told media men.
