Indian army kill two women in India’s Chhattisgarh 

New Delhi, December 19, 2021 (PPI-OT):Indian army have killed two women in Chhattisgarh state in India. The women were killed early morning during an operation conducted by Indian army, paramilitary and District Reserve Guard (DRG) against Dalit-Naxals near Gonderas in Dantewada district of the state. After the skirmish ended, the bodies of two Naxals, identified as Hidme Kohrame and Pojje, were recovered, Dantewada district Superintendent of Police, Abhishek Pallava said.

On the other hand, three farmers have been found dead in Indian state West Bengal’s rice bowl Purba Bardhaman district in the last two days, police said on Sunday. The deceased farmers’ families said that they have died by suicide after Cyclone Jawad-induced untimely rain destroyed potato and paddy crops, while the district administration is probing the incidents. Two farmers were found hanging in their houses in Debipur and Bantir villages in Raina I block and another farmer was found hanging in his house in Biruha village in Kalna II block of the state.

Meanwhile, a 15-year-old girl has been gang raped in West Bengal’s Purba Bardhaman district. The incident took place near Amarun Bazaar in Bhatar police station when the class 9th student went to the market, a police officer said.
