India uses digital warfare for anti-Pakistan propaganda: Fawad

Islamabad, December 14, 2021 (PPI-OT): Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhary Fawad Hussain has said that the current age is an era of narratives and information has a pivotal role in this scenario. Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad, today, he said that wars in the past were fought for plundering but war morality has changed now.

He said India has been using digital warfare through means of communication especially social media for anti-Pakistan propaganda across the world. He said propaganda based narratives are used as mode of warfare to economically paralyze countries.

Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said unfortunately we have not strengthened our institutions like the external publicity wing of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and our film industry which can be used in advancing and propagating our narratives at the international level.
