Srinagar, May 19, 2022 (PPI-OT):India has decided to deploy additional forces’ personnel in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir to launch more crackdown and cordon and search operations in the territory. Around 15,000 additional Indian paramilitary forces’ personnel will be deployed soon in the name of tackling the security situation and to increase more operations in the Kashmir Valley. India has already deployed more additional companies of troops and paramilitary forces for the upcoming Hindu Amarnath Yatra.
Indian Home Minister Amit Shah held a high-level review meeting in his North Block office on the security situation in IIOJK on Tuesday. The decision came after Amit Shah’s meeting with top army, police and agencies. The meeting was attended by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Indian Army Chief Manoj Pande, and senior officials of the IIOJK administration. Amit Shah directed the Indian forces and police to conduct coordinated more operations against Mujahideen and pro-freedom leaders, activists and youth in the territory.
