New Delhi, January 19, 2023 (PPI-OT):India is the most unsafe country for women and the gravity of the situation can be gauged from the fact that even the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chairperson is not safe. DCW chairperson Swati Maliwal was dragged by a car for 10-15 metres when she was reprimanding a drunk man who had stopped near her and asked her to sit in his car.
When she went near the driver’s side, he quickly rolled up window, her hand got stuck and she was dragged. The police said the accused identified as Harish Chandra has been arrested.
