Srinagar, July 02, 2022 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, political experts and analysts have said that Indian troops and police personnel are carrying out widespread arrests to throttle the dissent in the territory.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the political experts and analysts in their interviews and statements in Srinagar said the current arrest spree in IIOJK is part of the revengeful policy to silence the voice of freedom as Modi regime is denying space to pro-freedom people by repeatedly arresting them on fake charges.

They said the Kashmiris are being detained under frivolous and concocted charges. “Arrests and detentions are aimed at breaking the Kashmiris’ resolve for freedom. India continues to use draconian laws to prolong illegal detention of Kashmiri prisoners. The arrests and raids are manifest of Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian regime’s frustration to subdue the Kashmiris,” they said.

The political experts and analysts pointed out that Narendra Modi is hell bent on destroying all peaceful means of resolving the Kashmir dispute. They said, India’s brutal attitude to suppress the freedom sentiment of Kashmiri people has touched new heights since the abrogation of the special status of IIOJK by communal Modi government on 5 August 2019.

World human rights groups should take cognizance of unlawful detentions in IIOJK, the political experts and analysts said, adding that the Kashmiri people are ready to give every sacrifice to secure their right to self-determination.
