India, Pakistan urged to peacefully settle Kashmir dispute

Islamabad, July 31, 2021 (PPI-OT):The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) Altaf Ahmed Butt has urged India and Pakistan to demonstrate wisdom and play a constructive role for peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute. Altaf Ahmed Butt addressing a function in Islamabad said that Kashmir was emerging as a flashpoint in the changing global situation and warned that delaying the solution to Kashmir dispute could have dangerous repercussions.

He urged India to shun its rigidity on Kashmir and resolve the lingering dispute in accordance with the UN resolutions and aspiration of the Kashmiri people. He also welcomed the letter of EU parliamentarians to European Commission on the humanitarian situation in IIOJK, urging the European Union to raise its voice on the issue and take action. He also appealed world community to play impressive role for peaceful settlement of the Kashmir conflict.
