India Initiates ‘Sarv Shakti’ Military Operation in Pir Panjal, IIOJK

Srinagar, The Indian Army has initiated a large-scale military operation named ‘Sarv Shakti’, meaning Omnipotence, across the Pir Panjal range in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). This operation spans both sides of the Pir Panjal range, which divides the Kashmir Valley from the hilly districts of the Jammu region.

According to Kashmir Media Service, ‘Operation Sarv Shakti’ is being conducted in the Shopian and Pulwama districts on one side of the Lower Himalayan region, and in the Rajouri and Poonch districts on the other. The operation involves the Srinagar-based Chinar Corps and the Nagrota-Jammu-based White Knight Corps, in collaboration with the Central Reserve Police Force, Special Operations Group, and intelligence agencies.

The primary objective of ‘Operation Sarv Shakti’ is reported to be the suppression of pro-freedom sentiments in both the Kashmir valley and the Jammu region. As part of this operation, Indian army personnel and intelligence agents are conducting thorough, door-to-door searches and reportedly compelling local residents to act as informers for the Indian forces. The reports indicate that locals are being threatened with severe consequences for non-compliance.

This extensive operation signifies a significant escalation in the Indian military’s efforts to control the region, affecting numerous districts and involving multiple branches of the Indian armed forces and intelligence agencies.
