Srinagar, July 04, 2021 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Fikr-o-Aitqad has said that Indian occupation forces have made the lives of Kashmiri people a hell by blatantly violating their fundamental rights. Maulana Sarjan Barkati, head of Tehreek-e-Fikr-o-Aitqad, while presiding over his party meeting in Kulgam said that India has turned occupied Jammu and Kashmir into a killing field.

He said that New Delhi continues to impose a military siege in the occupied territory for the last two years which has destroyed its economy. He said that Kashmiri traders, industrialists and labourers were finding it hard to meet their daily needs.

Surjan Barkati while paying homage to all the martyrs of Kashmir including five youth recently martyred by Indian troops in Pulwama on Friday said that the great sacrifices of the martyrs would bring fruit one day. He said that Kashmiris would continue their struggle till they are given their birth right as per the UN resolutions. Barkati urged the international community to end its criminal silence on Indian atrocities against unarmed Kashmiris and put pressure on India to resolve the Kashmir dispute.
