Srinagar, November 25, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have strongly condemned the gruesome killing of three another Kashmiri youth in a fake encounter, a brazen act of crime against humanity, in Rambagh area of Srinagar.
Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement Chairman Maulvi Bashir Ahmad Irfani in a statement issued in Srinagar strongly reacting to the massacre of youth said that India has forgotten the reality that the freedom movements could not be suppressed through such brutal tactics. He paid glowing tributes to the martyred youth.
Mohammad Yousuf Naqash, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Islamic Political Party, while reacting to the Rambagh massacre said that India had broken all records of brutality in Kashmir. He deplored that New Delhi was systematically committing genocide of the Kashmiris.
“Massacre of innocent people in fake encounters has become a norm in occupied Kashmir,” he said and added that India has set up a program to subjugate Kashmiris through its barbarism. Hurriyat leader Javed Ahmad Mir said that day was not far when people of Kashmir would see the dawn of freedom as a result of the sacrifices of the Kashmiri youth.
The Jammu Kashmir National Front Spokesman, Shafiq-ur-Rehman while citing the rising incidents of state terrorism in the region said that blanket impunity enjoyed by the occupation forces under different laws was major contributing factor behind the ongoing killing spree and bloody violence in the region.
He urged the international community to take stock of the worsening human rights situation in the Kashmir valley and break its silence on Kashmir and stop the vicious cycle of violence that has taken heavy toll on civilian lives in the region.
Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL) said that unwarranted killings would bring the destination of freedom closer. Party Spokesman Mohammad Iqbal said that the occupation forces shielded by the draconian laws kill the subjugated people of Kashmir with impunity.
He urged the United Nations Council for Human Rights, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and International Committee of Red Cross to take serious cognizance of the prevailing gruesome situation wherein people were being killed mercilessly for the crime which they have not committed.
Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League urged on the United Nations Human Rights Council to take necessary steps against India for military and police brutalities in the Kashmir valley.
Hurriyat leaders Abdul Ahad Parra, Yasmeen Raja, Shabbir Ahmad Dar, Abdul Samad Inqilabi and Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front also condemned the killings. Pairwan-e-Wilayat Jammu and Kashmir said that killing innocent Kashmir youth has become a hobby of trigger-happy Indian soldiers.
International Forum for Justice Human Rights J and K Chairman Muhammad Ahsan Untoo in a statement lambasted the police chief, Vijay Kumar, for his blatant lie that only two civilians were killed in Kashmir in the past one year.
He pointed out that over a dozen civilians had been killed by the occupational forces in scores in the disputed territory in the past one year. He said the IGP lied to cover up the war crimes committed by Indian forces in Kashmir. Hurriyat AJK leader Sheikh Abdul Mateen in a statement issued in Islamabad urged the international community to take notice of fake encounter killings in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
