Islamabad, February 22, 2022 (PPI-OT):Prime Minister Imran Khan has regretted that India was following a racist and supremacist ideology inspired by Nazism and denied resolving the Jammu and Kashmir dispute. The prime minister said this in an exclusive interview, today, with a Russian Television on the eve of his visit to Moscow.
When asked about relations with India, the Prime Minister said his government immediately reached out to India after coming to power in order to resolve the outstanding Jammu and Kashmir dispute.
Imran Khan said Pakistan did not want to become part of a particular bloc in the region but instead desired trading relations with all countries including Russia to lift the people out of poverty. He pointed out that Pakistan has suffered in the past because of this politics of bloc and did not want to repeat the mistake. He said the last thing we want is the world divided into blocs.
The Prime Minister maintained that greater cooperation between the US, China and Russia will benefit mankind much more than the conflict. He hoped for peaceful resolution of Ukraine issue. He said conflicts could have disastrous consequences on the people of poor countries, who already faced poverty in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic. The Prime Minister said Pakistan wants to strengthen bilateral relations with Russia and that he looks forward to his Moscow visit.
