Islamabad, October 19, 2021 (PPI-OT):Hurriyat AJK leader Sheikh Yaqoob has denounced the unbridled military repression and the systematic evil plans unleashed by fascist Modi regime for changing the demographic character of occupied Jammu and Kashmir. In a statement issued in Islamabad, Sheikh Yaqoob castigated the inhuman conduct and the human rights violations committed by the Indian occupation forces across the disputed territory.
Terming the Indian policies as colonial, he said that New Delhi was pursuing its heinous objective of engineering a demographic change by bringing thousands of non-locals from India and settling them in the occupied territory in total contempt and disregard of the relevant UNSC resolutions and the international law.
Sheikh Yaqoob lambasted the Indian communal regime for its continued military repression saying that the occupation forces were engaged in large scale crackdowns and search operations across the territory and its digital blockade to hide the bloodbath these forces were carrying out in fake encounters.
Hurriyat AJK leader appealed to the international community and the human rights groups to take an immediate notice of the ongoing military barbarism and force the Modi regime to stop killings and seek a peaceful and negotiated settlement of the Kashmir dispute. Jammu and Kashmir Employees Movement Vice Chairman Imtiaz Wani in a statement deplored that Modi regime has converted Jammu and Kashmir into a jail cell even on the Eid-Milad (SAWS).
