Srinagar, September 17, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman of Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi, Abdul Samad Inqilabi, has said that India is committing the worst human rights violations in the territory. Abdul Samad Inqilabi in a statement issued in Srinagar condemned the Indian government for continuously depriving the Kashmiri people of their birth right to self-determination.

He lamented that India was occupying the land of Kashmiris and was looting the natural resources of the territory. He added that India also wanted to eradicate civilizational and cultural values and social and religious identity of the Kashmiris. He said that Indian forces had intensified their oppression in IIOJK and martyred thousands of youth in fake encounters so far. Abdul Samad Inqilabi said that despite the Indian oppression, morale of the Kashmiris was high and they were determined to take the ongoing freedom movement to its logical conclusion.

He appealed to the UN Security Council to stop India from changing the demography of IIOJK by permanently settling the Indian citizens in the occupied territory and force New Delhi to resolve the lingering Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri people. He also hailed the ambassador of Pakistan in the UN, Khalil Hashmi, for raising Indian atrocities in IIOJK during the 48th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.
