Rawalpindi, February 11, 2023 (PPI-OT):The Chairperson of Peace and Culture organization, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, has said that unarmed Kashmiris have been fighting against Indian brutalities in illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir for the last 7 decades. Mushaal Hussein Mullick addressing a ceremony organized in Govt Associate Girls College, Rawalpindi, regarding the Kashmir Solidarity Day and the martyrdom anniversary of Hurriyat leader Maqbool Butt, she said unarmed Kashmiris are fighting against Indian state terrorism, adding India is committing war crime and terrorism in the occupied territory and there is no one to stop it.
She said that Kashmiri leader Maqbool Butt was hanged even though there was no evidence against him; moreover his body was still in the premises of Tihar jail. Mushaal said that the time was not far when India would have to account for its atrocities. The voice of Kashmiris and their struggle for freedom cannot be suppressed for long by repression, she added. She called upon the international community to stop human rights violations in IIOJK and reverse its illegal and unilateral actions of 5 August 2019.
She said that the Kashmir movement was just like Karbala, dead bodies are desecrated, people of Kashmir have the help of Allah and even today many leaders of Kashmir are languishing in jails. Mashaal said the way the students of Rawalpindi colleges have expressed their emotions and expressed solidarity with the Kashmiri people is commendable.
