India again launches propaganda against Pakistan ahead of FATF plenary meeting 

Islamabad, February 21, 2022 (PPI-OT):India has again launched disinformation campaign against Pakistan at a time when Financial Action Task Force plenary meeting begins in Paris today [Monday]. According to a report published by Kashmir Media Service, Indian media is propaganding that Pakistan may soon enter FATF’s blacklist.

India is trying to influence FATF to achieve its narrow political designs against Pakistan. The report said international experts have rubbished Indian claims that FATF may blacklist Pakistan. South Asian policy expert, Michael Kugelman rebutted Indian press reports claiming FATF will soon blacklist Pakistan.

Similarly, South Asian and Middle East strategic analyst Dr Claude Rakisits said Pakistan is more likely to be taken off FATF’s grey list. The report urged FATF to remove Pakistan from its grey list as it has completed all technical requirements of the international watchdog.
