Lahore, Adhering to the directives of ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the first women’s driving school and test centre in Islamabad has now started conducting driving tests. The inception of this centre aligns with the guidelines provided by Interior Minister Sarfaraz Bugti.
According to Punjab Police, During his visit to the facility, the Chief Traffic Officer Islamabad expressed the need for officers to ensure all necessary amenities are available to women. The centre prides itself on training women under the guidance of seasoned professionals, ensuring that driving tests align with national standards. Only those meeting the criteria receive their driving licenses. Many women, benefitting from this initiative, have voiced their appreciation for ICCPO’s efforts in establishing the Driving School and Test Centre.
