Improvements are being done in dog protection center 

Islamabad, October 24, 2022 (PPI-OT):On the direction of chairman CDA Capt (r) Muhammad Usman Younis, Structural improvements are being done in washing and disinfection area as per protocols in the dog protection center. According to the details 245 dogs currently are in SDPCC and are being looked after by trained staff in dedicated areas for male/female dogs and puppies.

Moreover, more than 15 surgeries are being conducted since Saturday and neutered dogs are being shifted to separate kennels for recovery and post-op monitoring.

Further more

Post recovery, dogs are shifted to open space for free movement. The same area also houses 30 kennels which remain open allowing free movement. At the moment the capacity is for 500 dogs but plans are being prepared for expansion under the direction of chairman CDA.
