Islamabad, December 25, 2022 (PPI-OT):Islamabad capital police Aabpara police station have arrested an accused involved in defrauding citizens by impersonating himself a police officer, a police public relation officer said. He said that, following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Islamabad capital police had categorically started a crackdown against criminal elements in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.

During the crackdown, the Aabpara police team used technical and human resources and arrested an accused involved in defrauding citizens by impersonating himself a police officer. The accused was identified as Muhammad Jamil Anwar. Police team also recovered looted cash and impounded a car used by him. Case has been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. Safety of lives and property of the citizens is the prime responsibility of Islamabad capital police and every possible effort would be made to ensure it.
