Impartial probe into massacres by troops in IIOJK demanded 

Srinagar, June 11, 2022 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has demanded an impartial investigation into all the massacres carried out by Indian troops in the territory to punish the perpetrators. The demand has been made on the completion of 31 years to the Chotta Bazaar massacre. At least 32 innocent Kashmiris were killed and dozens others injured

Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force troops went berserk after an alleged clash with unknown attackers at Zainakadal in the city. The troops opened indiscriminate fire with their automatic weapons all the way from their camp at Syed Mansoor to Chotta Bazaar in the densely populated downtown area of Srinagar. At least 32 people were killed while 22 others were injured in the carnage.

The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar paid rich tributes to victims of the Chotta Bazaar carnage and reaffirmed the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue the mission of their martyrs till it reached its logical conclusion. He said the Kashmir freedom movement has witnessed dozens of such gruesome incidents of killing leaving behind imprints of bravery on the blood soaked earth to fight Indian forcible and illegal occupation even with more vigor and enthusiasm.

A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Political Resistance Movement led by its Chairman Jameel Mir and General Secretary Dr Musaib visited the Martyrs’ Graveyard at Eidgah in Srinagar to pay homage to the victims of Chotta Bazaar massacre, martyred student Tufail Mattoo and other Kashmiri martyrs.

The members of the delegation said the martyrs’ sacrifices are priceless assets of the Kashmir freedom movement and reiterated that the Kashmiri people would continue their struggle till it reached its logical conclusion. They urged India to give up its intransigence on the Kashmir dispute, uphold international law and respect the United Nations resolutions on Kashmir.
