Islamabad, The International Labour Organization’s Country Office for Pakistan is set to host a panel discussion titled “Towards a more inclusive world without violence and harassment” at the ILO Auditorium in Islamabad. The event aims to address the challenges of violence and harassment in the workplace and to explore legal and policy measures that can create a future of work rooted in dignity and respect for all.
According to United Nations Pakistan, the session scheduled for March 7, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, will be an informal yet pivotal gathering for knowledge-sharing among various stakeholders. These include government representatives, social partners, members of civil society, development partners, and gender equality experts. The interactive session will focus on the ILO Convention No. 190, the first international treaty to acknowledge the right of everyone to a world of work free from violence and harassment. Participants will discuss effective strategies to foster more inclusive workplace environments.
