IIOJK University Students Protest Against Fee Hikes and Poor Infrastructure

Srinagar: Students at Central University Kashmir in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir protested against significant fee increases and inadequate campus facilities. The demonstrations at the Tulmulla campus in Ganderbal district highlighted the students’ struggles with escalating educational costs and substandard conditions.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the protesting students voiced their frustrations with the lack of essential amenities such as clean drinking water and functional washrooms. They carried banners demanding the rollback of fee hikes and asserting their right to accessible education. Despite their grievances being repeatedly raised, the local administration has yet to respond, leading to increased student unrest and calls for action.
