Srinagar, July 19, 2021 (PPI-OT):Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir recorded 146 fresh coronavirus cases and one death.

One new confirmed case of mucormycosis has been reported, bringing the cumulative number of confirmed cases to 34 and the number of infections and fatalities to 3,19,901 and 4,364 respectively, officials said.

Out of the fresh cases, 88 are from Kashmir valley and 58 from Jammu region, they said. Srinagar district recorded the highest number of cases at 27, followed by 16 in Jammu, they added.

The number of active cases dropped to 1,919, while 3,13,618 patients have recovered from the infection so far, the officials said. There were 34 confirmed cases of Mucormycosis (black fungus) in the territory as one fresh case was reported in the last 24 hours. -4R
